While we were in Bosnia and Herzegovina we wanted to do a few road trips and explore some cool places in Bosnia. I definitely love road trips, they are always perfect for me and honestly I love finding new places. I definitely wanted to explore more while we were in Bosnia, but most days were super hot and I just didn’t feel like going walking around and exploring. We still visited quite a few places and my favourite was definitely “Pješčane piramide” that is close to Sarajevo. After our nice road trip we went to eat some food and relax, so we had a perfect day of chill and exploration.
I won’t talk too much or put many photos of the place as you have so much information about this natural phenomenon in Bosnia on Google. This is a really popular place for tourists to visit as it is so stunning and there is not much traffic. We went on Sunday, around 3 pm and we were alone there. I will say that road till place is not the best, it is quite hard to get there, you have to drive slow and be really careful. Navigation got us there perfectly, so you won’t get lost. I will say that the last 15, 20 minutes were a bit intense as the road was bumpy. I think going there by bike is a better option, but by car is also good, just be patient. You have a nice spot to park right next to the place, which is perfect. Place is truly stunning, so worth seeing. I was really amazed to see how beautiful this place is, it is perfect for photos and you can really have a good day there. Sand pyramids are the perfect place for a nice picnic as nature around is so pretty. We were there for about an hour, but if I go there again, I’ll definitely bring some food and drinks to enjoy the place more.
Definitely google this place, people rated it really highly, which honestly is completely true, the place is truly stunning. Sand pyramids have 4.6 stars from 475 reviews on Google, definitely a place worth seeing if you are visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. We had a great time seeing this beautiful natural phenomenon. There is much information online about how these pyramids formed, so definitely read about it. I wanted to include information in this blog post, but honestly it would make this blog post too long and I usually like sharing experiences rather than information that is already available online. You can also find many YOUTUBE videos about Sand pyramids, so check that out also. I think this is a great place for wedding photos, it is a bit hard to climb definitely, but I think that photos would look amazing.
Now I will share my outfit details. I wanted to wear something simple, with brown, earth colours as I felt it would look the best with background. My outfit is pretty simple, but it is comfortable and great for road trips. My earth-coloured shirt has no brand. I found it two years ago in a thrift store, but it is pure silk and absolutely gorgeous. Beige crop top is from Zara and black high waisted shorts are from Bershka. My sneakers are Tommy Hilfiger and my bag is from DKNY. I put a big silk scarf on the bag to give it a nice accessory, it is my current favourite thing to do. I found this silk scarf in a thrift store, so it’s a great way to accessorise your bag. Sunglasses that I wear are no brand, I found them in some random shop in Denmark.
