I basically got these two products because I thought it would be interesting to test them out for a review. I don’t really use lip masks to be honest, I saw them in stores, but never picked one up! So when I saw Sence lip mask I thought it will be interesting to test it out and see what are lip masks all about. I will also share my thoughts about the Monkey facial sheet mask that is supposed to cleanse the pores and remove dirt and oil for the skin. I didn’t have any expectations from these products to be honest, they just looked fun to try out, but I didn’t expect them to give any noticeable results. Today I’ll share with you a full review on Sence Beauty Monkey sheet mask and lip mask.
Sence Beauty Hydrogel lip mask
Packaging is pretty simple, it looks cute. Basically the lip mask comes protected in plastic wrap, pink box basically gives more information on the product. So this is a Hydrogel lip mask for hydrated lips. Sence Beauty lip mask is formulated with hydrolyzed collagen and cucumber extract. You are supposed to apply this jelly lip mask over clean lips, press it to make sure it sticks well and then leave it on the lips for 15-20 minutes. After time passes, you are supposed to remove the mask and massage leftover serum into the lips. Lip mask is quite big, so it goes over the lips and kinda looks funny. Mask is a dark pink colour and it has a tiny shimmer.
When you apply Sence lip mask you feel a bit funny, it is hard to talk while having this on, so I would suggest to use it while you are alone. I put it on in front of my husband and we just couldn’t stop laughing. Sence Beauty Hydrogel sleep mask feels cooling when you first apply it, but other than that I didn’t notice any other feeling. Honestly when I removed this lip mask, my lips honestly felt the same. There wasn’t any serum to massage into the lips. My lips looked the same, they didn’t feel more hydrated and honestly this is quite a useless product. I think this is a product that you buy because it looks interesting, you can take some funny pictures with it and it is something different and unusual. I don’t have much to say about this one, it doesn’t give any results so I don’t recommend it.
Sence Beauty Monkey facial sheet mask
Packaging is pretty cute, I have to be honest. Sence Beauty Monkey facial sheet mask looks so cute and I was excited to test it out. This is supposed to be a deep cleansing facial sheet mask with perilla leaf extract. Sheet is actually thicker material and it is quite big, so I had to fold it on edges to not mess up my hair. Sheet mask does have monkey print on it, it looks cute. First thing that I noticed was the scent, it is pretty intense and not the most pleasant. While wearing a mask on the skin, I got used to the scent and couldn’t feel it. Mask was quite wet, it had a nice amount of serum. In the packaging there is not a lot of serum left when you take the sheet out.
Sence Beauty Monkey facial sheet mask feels nice and refreshing on the skin. It feels relaxing, quite hydrating and you definitely get that spa feeling. I wore Sence Beuty Monkey sheet mask for about 20 minutes. I felt like my skin was nice and smooth after I removed the mask. It felt nicely smooth and I feel like the mask gave a bit of hydration. I did put my skin care products after, so I feel like this was a nice treat to my skin, but it’s nothing incredible and like a must try. Sence Beauty Monkey sheet mask is nice, but for me personally not something I need to repurchase.
