I went to check out this collection the day it came out, but it took me some time to sit down and write this review. I have been very busy and just didn’t use much time on my blog unfortunately. Rituals The Alchemy collection completely stole my heart, I loved the look of this collection. It looks so luxurious, the packaging is so stunning and eye-catching. This collection was quite expensive, the price of body cream was higher than usual body creams in Rituals and you also got a smaller amount of product. I guess it is because the packaging is glass, but still the price increase is noticeable. I will tell you all about Rituals The Alchemy collection, my thoughts on packaging, formula and prices. I did get Rituals The Alcemy foaming shower gel and a little black bag also, but didn’t include them in the review, because the formula of foaming shower gel is pretty much the same like all other shower creams which I already reviewed. Little Rituals The Alchemy bag was a gift with purchase, it is cute and I will use it as a dust bag for one of my bags. Let’s start with this review.
Rituals The Alchemy body cream review
Packaging is stunning. Cream comes in a glass tub and in black box with orange and gold details. I will leave a link to an Instagram reel video that I made about this collection. It is an unboxing video, so you can see shower foam, a little black bag, body cream and face mask unboxing. Packaging of the cream is stunning, glass and I will definitely keep it when I use up the cream. In packaging you get 175 ml of product and this body cream is 189 DKK which is 25 Euros. In regular Rituals body creams you get 220 ml of product and it is 169 DKK. So that is quite a price increase for The Alchemy body cream, but this one is apparently a different formula.
I will say Rituals The Alchemy body cream is incredible, it has such a lovely, rich and smooth texture. It smells devine, this is one of my favourite Rituals scents ever, it stays on the skin for hours. I love this scent and I really hope they will keep it as part of their regular collection. This body cream has little orange pieces inside which are apparently oil that make this cream richer. This body cream is definitely hydrating, smoothing and you don’t need a lot of cream as it is rich in texture and it has such an intense scent that it smells devine for hours. I love this cream, I’m glad I bought it. I wish that it was a little bit more affordable, but it is stunning and I would gladly spend money on it again.
Rituals The Alchemy face mask review
I love Rituals face masks, so when I saw a preview of Rituals The Alchemy collection and saw that they have face masks in the collection I knew I wanted to buy it. Face mask come in glass packaging and you get a little black Rituals bowl and small face mask brush. I feel like this is a product in the collection that is actually fairly priced. You get three products, packaging is stunning and you get a lot of product. In Rituals The Alchemy face mask you get 90 grams of powder which can last a long time. Price of this one is 289 DKK, which is about 38 Euros. That is a lot, but these Rituals powder face masks can last a long time.
I have Rituals The Ritual of Namaste charcoal powder mask (review) that comes with 70 g of product and it is 269 DKK (35 Euros). Rituals The Alchemy face mask smells incredible obviously. It is white finely milled powder with golden shimmer particles. When you mix this The Alchemy face mask with water you get transparent gel consistency which has a lot of golden shimmer in. Mask is easy to apply to the skin with a little Rituals brush and looks beautiful on the skin. As you apply a face mask you feel this amazing scent and while wearing the mask you smell amazing. This face mask looks beautiful on the skin, it makes skin super soft and smooth. Skin also looks very glowy after you remove face mask and skin looks nicely prepared for makeup or rest skin care products. I love using Rituals The Alchemy face mask, it is very enjoyable and I love the effect it has. I’m glad I bought this face mask even though it is expensive. I think it will last a long time, so I will have a lot of applications from this product.
