I do have some days when I need to invest time in my skin and do a full on spa skin care routine. I love taking care of my skin, it makes me feel good and gives me happiness so once a week I try to do a full on spa skin care routine. Sometimes I don’t have time to do it once a week, but I really try to do it. I will be honest this routine does take at least one hour, so it is definitely a pamper routine. I like to invest time into my skin care as I have problematic skin, so this routine once a week is the least I could do for my skin, because skin after looks incredible.I will share with you every step of my spa, pamper skin care routine. I do deep cleanse, exfoliation, face masks, skin massage and a few layers of serum.
I start my pamper skin care routine, moving hair out of my face in a high bun and using a big fluffy headband to take little baby hairs from my face. I start by cleansing my skin first with a face wash. If I was wearing makeup, I first remove makeup using cleansing milk and follow up with double cleanse with face wash. After cleansing my skin I do exfoliate my skin, for that I usually use a physical exfoliator. During the week I do use a chemical exfoliator once as a part of my skin care routine. I do have The Ordinary lactic acid 5% which is a great easy chemical exfoliator. But for my pamper skin care routine I like to use a physical exfoliator and for that I love using Evoluderm aloe vera creamy scrub. This one is gentle and it doesn’t have harsh beads, so I love it for that fact. I do like to use it once a week because it makes my skin super soft and smooth.
At least once a week I do deep cleansing of the skin. For that I love to use the Neutrogena Skin Detox face mask that provides deep cleaning. This face mask is amazing, I used up two of these before. This is my all time favourite deep cleansing mask, it really digs deep in skin and takes out all those impurities. I take off this mask, washing it off or using a wet towel. After the Neutrogena face mask that I like to use to prepare skin for other mask, I like to use Nacomi green or black clay. If I’m having blemishes then green clay as a mask is great because it helps blemishes dry out quicker. Nacomi black clay mask is great as a cleansing face mask, it is a nice detox for skin. I do sometimes use a hydrating face mask, but usually in my spa skin care routine I like to focus on deep cleansing. Hydrating face mask I usually use about two times a week, so no need for it during the weekend also. My current favourite hydrating face masks are Freeman hydrating gel mask and Glam Glow Thirsty mud hydrating treatment.
After using all the cleansing face masks, I like to nourish my skin well. I sometimes use facial oil, but usually I go for Hada Labo super hydrator. After deep cleansing skin needs extra hydration so I usually use a few layers of Hada Labo super hydrator. I usually use two pumps of Hada Labo and then use Jade roller to massage skin nicely. I would use that motion about three to four times, to really deeply hydrate my skin. Hada Labo super hydrator is a great product for face massage using Jade rollers or Gua Sha massager. Since using Jade roller and Gua Sha massager I noticed that my skin looks more radiant, it has more elasticity. Also I like to spray my face a few times in between massages with Bielenda Eco Nature toner, because it is so gentle and it adds a kick of hydration and nutrients to the skin. After face massage I apply my regular eye cream and face cream. At the end I spray my face once more with Bielenda facial spray.
That is my all spa skin care routine that I try to do once a week. I really enjoy this long skin care routine, it takes time, but it benefits my skin so much. I would recommend you to try to pamper your skin sometimes, it is really enjoyable and the difference in skin is really great. That is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
