I always loved Artdeco products. I tried a lot of Artdeco products, but I never tried their glosses. As you might know I love lip glosses, I would always choose a gloss over a lipstick. I was always like that, I always loved glossy lips. Lipstick for me is always drying, as I have really dry lips, so wearing gloss always made sense to me. I decided to buy two different versions of Artdeco glosses, just to see if they are different in formula. I will review them together in one blog post, stating their similarities and differences. Today I’ll share with you a full review of Artdeco Lip Brilliance and Artdeco Glamour gloss.
Packaging of these glosses is really similar, only the cap colour is different. Artdeco Lip Brilliance gloss has black cap and Artdeco Glamour Gloss has silver cap. In packaging you get 5 ml of product or 0.16 fl. oz. Artdeco Lip Brilliance is supposed to be long lasting lip gloss. I got it in shade 16, which is like a darker mauve colour. Artdeco Glamour Gloss is a sparkling lip gloss and I got it in the shade 25. Artdeco Glamour Gloss is a pretty rose gold colour that is packed with a silver shimmer. Artdeco glosses have a pretty similar scent, it is a very subtle sweet scent. The doe foot applicator is the same on both glosses, it is standard small doe foot applicator.
Both of these Artdeco glosses are really nicely pigmented. You don’t need a lot of product to have an opaque colour on the lips. Artdeco Lip Brilliance lip gloss comes out lighter on lips which I really like, because it suits me so nicely. Artdeco Lip Brilliance lip gloss is not overly glossy, it has a nice subtle shine which I love. I don’t like overly glossy glosses, so Artdeco gloss is perfect. Artdeco Lip Brilliance lip gloss makes lips appear juicy, nicely moisturised and perfected. Obviously like any other gloss Artdeco gloss will be removed easily, when you drink or eat. But if you just wear it without drinking or eating it will last a few hours.
I personally really liked Artdeco Lip Brilliance, I think it looks amazing on the lips and I love wearing it. Artdeco Glamour Gloss is definitely shimmery gloss. It is packed with shimmer. I never really wore super shimmery glosses, but I kinda like it. Wearing it all over the lips is a bit much for me, it gives that metallic lipstick look which I’m not the biggest fan of. But wearing it in the middle of the lips looks amazing. For a night time I don’t mind the metallic look on the lips, but for day wear, it is a bit much. I usually wear these Artdeco glosses together. I first apply Artdeco Lip Brilliance all over my lips and then Artdeco Glamour gloss in the middle of my lips. I love the combination of two, they make lips look amazing. Artdeco Glamour Gloss lip gloss lasts the same as Artdeco Lip Brilliance gloss. Honestly these look really nice and I love the formula. These are not sticky, they don’t gather in corners of lips and they fade away on lips really nicely.
I really like these glosses. I think they are great quality, look amazing on the lips and I definitely want more of them. I would definitely recommend Artdeco lip glosses, I think they are amazing. If you like shimmery glosses then Artdeco Glamour gloss is the perfect option for you as they are packed with shimmer, but they are really comfortable and smooth on the lips.
