How I take care of my hair

post-title

If you read my blog often then you’ll know how much I take care of my hair. For me, hair care is super important, my hair is one of my best features. I love how healthy it is and it is an important part of my whole look. I do intense hair treatment once a week, sometimes if I’m really busy then it doesn’t happen, but usually I really try to do my scalp oil treatment because it does wonders for my hair. I will share with you my full hair care routine, from oil scalp treatment to length treatment and after washing care.

I made an oil mixture that I apply to my scalp once a week and leave it on for about 2-3 hours to deeply nourish my scalp and help my hair grow faster. Oil mixture that I made contains: castor oil, mint essential oil, Moroccan argan oil, almond oil, avocado oil and olive oil. This oil mixture works really well, it makes hair so bouncy and voluminous after you wash it and dry it. It takes a bit to wash it off, so I use my scalp massager to wash it better. I also use a scalp massager to massage oil deeply into the scalp. I uploaded blog post about this hair oil mixture, check it out here.

After washing hair, I have after care that I have some favourite products to share with you. I always first use some scalp stuff, because I do struggle with dry scalp, so it takes some extra care. If I wash my hair I always apply scalp treatment before washing for at least 30 minutes because it makes a difference to my scalp. One of my favourite pre-wash scalp treatments is the one from Balea, it is a scalp conditioner. It just adds hydration and makes the scalp feel less dry and itchy. After washing I apply scalp cream from Balea scalp care line and Balea Moist Care hyaluronic acid spray. These products keep my scalp hydrated and they make itching go away for 2-3 days. When I’m washing hair I do use any shampoo that I have in my collection, but I always use it in combination with scalp massager. This is an important part of my hair care routine. If you don’t have a scalp massager, definitely get it, it makes a lot of difference.

Before drying my hair I always use some sort of leaving treatment and heat protecting spray. My all time favourite leaving treatment is Garnier Fructis Sos repair 10 in 1 leave in treatment. Great thing about this product is that it contains a heat protector in it, so I don’t have to use additional products. This leave-in treatment is amazing, makes hair really soft, smooth, helps with brushing, protects hair from heat and it adds shine. I always have to use a dryer to dry my hair, because I have so much hair. My hair is thick and I can only air dry it in real summer time. In winter I have to dry it really well, so for me heat protectant is super important. I always use Wet brush for brushing my hair, it is my favourite brand for hair brush. After drying my hair I always use some hair serum. I use hair serum a few times a week to make sure my hair looks nice, glowy and smooth. My current favourite hair serum is Dove Regenerate hair serum.

This is my hair care routine pretty much, I tried to explain it the best way possible. As I said, hair care is really important to me, so I like to invest time and money into it. That’s all from me today. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Let me know what your hair care routine is like? What is your favourite part of your hair care routine?
