I have pretty weak nails. Sometimes they get better and sometimes they are very weak and brittle. I try to take a Biotin supplement every day, because that really helps with the condition of my nails and really makes them stronger and healthier. I’m also the type of person that doesn’t really put nail polish to my nails, it is very rare that I polish my nails, but I do like the look of transparent nail polish on the nails. I love how clean it is and it really gives that classy, simple look, which I’m a big fan of in my style and beauty preferences. So I usually have transparent nail polish on my nails, so I always get some sort of strengthening nail polish to apply a few times a week. Today I’ll share with you my opinion and full review on Catrice Cosmetics Nail repair nail building base coat.
Packaging of Catrice Cosmetics Nail Repair base coat is quite simple, but it looks nice. Nail polish comes in a glass bottle with a green sticker and on the box of nail polish you can read a lot of information on the product. In the packaging you get 10.5 ml of product or 0.35 fl. oz. Catrice Cosmetics Nail Repair nail building base coat is supposed to improve nail condition, make nails harder and stronger and make nails less brittle. Consumers that tested this nail polish confirmed that they got improved nail condition (84%), harder and stronger nails (84%) and less brittle nails (86%). Catrice Cosmetics Nail Repair nail building base coat is supposed to be perfect to use as a protective base coat or caring nail treatment. It is enriched with mineral complex (zinc, copper, iron). Nails should be protected with this Catrice Cosmetics Nail Repair nail building base coat, stronger and protected from breaking. I think Nail Repair nail building base coat is around 4-5 Euros.
Catrice Cosmetics Nail Repair nail building base coat is thin, transparent, nicely shiny nail polish. The brush is very nice, holds enough product and it is very easy to use and apply nail polish evenly on nails. The texture of Catrice Cosmetics Nail repair nail building base coat is nice, very thin, easy to apply. I usually wear one coat on the nails and it gives that simple, clean nail look. Nail polish doesn’t last too long, on the second day you can see that nail polish is uneven and chipping, but I can’t really expect more from one layer. When applying two layers of nail polish does last better, I would say that it lasts up to 4 days with two layers.
I did use Catrice Cosmetics Nail repair nail building base coat for three weeks as treatment. I was applying it twice in a week on bare nails, one layer of nail polish. You are supposed to apply one layer of nail polish and let it dry. After three weeks of use I did notice that my nails were slightly stronger, they wouldn’t break as easily and they thicker if it makes sense. I’m the type of person who usually has really thin nails that are easily breakable and I can’t have really long nails as they break easily, but Catrice Cosmetics Nail repair nail building base coat did make them stronger and better looking. If you have thin nails that are easily breakable, this might be a good option for a nail treatment. If you like to polish your nails often, then having products like Catrice Cosmetics Nail repair nail building base coat is very useful as you can use it as a base to protect your nails for coloured nail polish.
