Simple is definitely a well known skin care brand, but it took quite a long time for their products to come to Bosnia. Ever since we could get them in local drugstores it’s been a brand that I loved testing out and buying new products. This is the second Simple moisturiser that I'm using in my night time skin care routine and today I'll share my full review on it.
First few words about packaging. It looks really nice, I like it. On the box you can read more information about the product and you get 50 ml of product. This cream is recommended for dry and sensitive skin. It is supposed to help restore hydration overnight. Simple Skin quench sleeping cream is formulated with 11% hydrating actives, plant based probiotic, vitamin E and minerals. Product is suitable for vegans and it is dermatologically tested. All Simple products are formulated without artificial colours or perfume, no harsh chemicals that can upset your skin.
Simple Skin quench sleeping cream is white, really light, scent free cream. I would say that it has cream to gel consistency as it literally melts into skin when you apply it. I used Simple Vital vitamin cream also, but I have to admit that I like Simple Skin quench sleeping cream better. Simple Vital Vitamin cream is better for normal skin I would say as it is not as hydrating as Simple Skin quench sleeping cream. I personally like both of them, but I think I would rather repurchase Simple Skin quench sleeping cream. I love how light weight this cream is and I love how easy it is to blend it into the skin. I feel like it literally melts on skin heat and you don’t even need to blend it into skin. After you apply it you right away feel hydration and refreshment.
This face cream works amazingly for night time skin care routine as it gives intense hydration, but it is lightweight and you won’t feel like you have something thick on your skin. I personally think it will be great for summer time, because it is refreshing and lightweight. I feel like you can wear this one day and night, but keep in mind that you need SPF on top of it if you wear it during the day. I only use it in night time skin care routine and I love combining it with retinol serum. When I use retinol I need intense moisturising cream and I feel like this one is perfect.
All in all I really like this cream. Simple Skin quench sleeping cream is my new favourite night cream and I know I’ll repurchase it many times over.
