I always liked reading empties blog posts. I think they are so useful and you can definitely find out about some great products that you might not have heard about before. In my last blog I made so many empties blog posts before, that it is only natural to do it on this blog also. Today I’ll share with you some great products that I used up in the past 3 months and give you a quick review about every product. We have a lot of products to go through, so let’s start with this blog post.
MAKEUP
Catrice Cosmetics Clean ID Glow prime & fix spray with rose extract
I used this one as a makeup setting mist, even though you can use it as a skin care also. I really liked this one, it made my makeup look really nice and fresh. I liked how it was refreshing, really gentle and nice on skin. You could use it many times a day to set or refresh the makeup. Also the mist was so fine and gentle, Catrice definitely nailed this one. I would definitely buy it again.
Manhattan 2in1 perfect tint powder & makeup
I mostly used this powder to touch up my makeup throughout the day. I liked that it came with a powder puff and mirror so it was super easy to use on the go. Also this one is really pigmented and a little bit goes a long way, so it lasted a long time. I liked this powder, it really made my skin look smooth and nicely covered. Also it looked great under the eyes, because it made skin appear really smooth and perfected. I would definitely buy this one again.
SKIN CARE
Nivea Urban skin Good night detox sleeping mask
I used up three of these before and this is one of my favourite Nivea products. I like how fresh this one makes me look, it is hydrating and leaves skin super soft and smooth. A little bit of this product goes a long way so this one lasts a long time. I honestly can’t recommend this one enough, I think it is amazing.
Douglass Essential Radiance tonic lotion
I loved this toner, it really made my skin so soft and smooth. It was great to use in the morning and night time skin care routine and really made a difference to the way my skin looks. It definitely added a nice, healthy glow to my skin and made it moisturised and soft. I would definitely buy a full size of this toner in future.
Simple Vital Vitamin cream
This is my first ever Simple product that I bought and tried. I honestly liked this cream, I used it in my night time skin care routine and it worked really well for me. I like how simple this moisturiser is, it will make your skin soft and smooth. Also it adds nice hydration and your skin will appear healthy and well taken care of. I think I might buy this one again, but I loved other Simple night cream more, so I might just repurchase that one.
Simple Skin quench sleeping cream
This Simple cream is just amazing. I love how light weight it is and it just makes skin look absolutely amazing. I honestly love how radiant and healthy my skin looks in the morning after using this cream. It works amazingly with any skin serum that you use and it is just a great basic moisturiser that everyone needs. I will definitely repurchase this one, it is a must have in skin care collection.
Eveline Cosmetics Look Delicious moisturising face bio mask
This face mask smelled delicious. It was an interesting concept of scrub and moisturising mask in one. I don’t think this made my skin look amazing or any different. It was one of those products that is not bad, but not good either if you know what I mean. I don’t think I ‘ll repurchase this one, it just didn’t blow me away with results after the use.
Bell HypoAllergenic aloe lash & brow serum
I liked this product. I felt like it made my brows and lashes grow faster. They just looked better, more full and long. Is this a must try product? Definitely it is not, I wouldn’t say you have to try it. It is a nice product to include in night time skin care routine, but again it doesn’t give absolutely amazing results. I might buy it again, because I enjoyed using it.
Cotton soft cosmetics cotton pads
These are my favourite cotton pads, I always use these. I don’t know how many I used up by now, but I’m sure it is a high number. I use cotton pads for removing nail polish, applying toner or removing eye makeup. I especially love using cotton pads to remove makeup from my hairline, because that can be so annoying to remove. I will definitely buy these again and can’t recommend them enough.
Balea Hyaluron face mask
I used up three packs of this face mask, so you know that I like it. This is a great mask to have in skin care stash as it provides nice hydration and it is super easy to use. I usually apply this one when I wake up in the morning to give additional hydration to skin, especially in colder months. But this one works great in summer time also as it is refreshing and it won’t make your skin oily. I will definitely repurchase this one again.
Essence LIP CARE booster lip butter with 10% coconut oil
I think I used up two of these before, I personally really like this lip balm. It is thick, so a little bit goes a long way and it will definitely moisturise lips so well. I personally really liked this lip balm, but sometimes my lips get so dry that this one can’t help me. I still think this is great daily lip care and I will repurchase this one again.
Nivea Anti wrinkle revitalising day cream 55+
I loved this face cream that I repurchased another one before using this one completely. I think this is an amazing day cream, it makes skin super soft and smooth. It adds beautiful glow to skin and works amazingly as a primer for makeup. I love this face cream and honestly can’t recommend it enough.
Balea sheet mask
This was a limited edition, so I can’t repurchase it again. Balea comes up with limited edition sheet masks all the time and they are usually the same. They are full of serum, so they make skin nicely hydrated, but that hydration doesn’t last a long time. So Balea sheet masks are nice, but they don’t really give long lasting results. I will still continue buying them, because I like them.
Essence Daily Drop of Energy face serum
I loved this face serum for travelling, it was so easy to carry as it is small and the bottle is plastic. I also liked how this one worked for my skin, it has vitamin C and it works great for morning skin care routine. It was a bit sticky, but it didn’t take a long time to blend into the skin. I would repurchase this one again.
Deep Fresh Micellar makeup removing wet wipes
These are my favourite makeup removing wipes, I really like them. I used up more than 10 packs by now and I will continue to purchase them. They are great for those nights when you get home and you are so tired that you just want something easy and quick. I always wash my face twice with face gel after using wet wipes to remove makeup and it works great for me. I will definitely buy these again.
Nacomi Hyaluronic 10% serum
I liked this serum, it worked great for night or morning skin care routine. I loved using it in combination with retinol serum, because retinol at the beginning dried out my skin quite badly. I used this one in my morning skin care routine and it really made my skin more hydrated in general. I might repurchase this one again, it is a good serum.
Balea gel mask
As I said Balea sheet masks are nice to use and they usually give nice hydration. I personally like them because they are affordable and easy to use. This one was really nice, because instead of sheet it is gel, so it feels amazing on skin. It is nicely cooling and it nicely refreshes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. I would definitely buy this one again.
HAIR CARE
Ziaja cashmere proteins & amaranth oil strengthening shampoo
I quite liked this shampoo, it washed hair really well and made it appear voluminous and bouncy. By the end of this shampoo bottle I was quite tired of this shampoo, so it will take a long time for me to go back to this one. I think I will repurchase it in future, because it is a good shampoo. I loved how this one smelled and you didn’t need a lot of product per one wash. I would recommend this shampoo, I think it is a nice product.
Ziaja cashmere proteins & amaranth oil concentrated strengthening hair mask
I liked a hair mask similar to Ziaja shampoo. It made my hair feel soft and smooth after using it. Also this mask really makes hair appear hydrated and really healthy. I feel like this is a good hair mask to have in a hair care collection and it just works great. Also the smell of this product is so nice, it stays in your hair for a day after using it. I would buy this one again for sure.
Schwarzkopf Poly Swing hair spray
I don’t use hair spray often, so for me to go through hair spray is quite an achievement. If I’m being fully honest most of this hair spray I used to spray my pampas grass as decor to last longer. I used it for hair a few times also and it holds hair really well. I think I will repurchase this one again as having hair spray is a must for those windy days that we have a lot of in Denmark.
BODY CARE
Balea Fairytale razor heads
I used the Balea Fairytale razor for the past year and I like it a lot. It is just easy to replace these heads and they last quite a long time. Also this is not expensive as razors can usually get, so for me this one will be used in years to come. If you can get your hands on this one, definitely give it a go. I already bought another pack of these razor heads.
Freshmaker wet wipes
I always have these small packs of wet wipes in my everyday bag because they are so useful and handy to have on the go. These were really nice, soft and really wet so they worked great for cleaning hands or anything you need on a daily basis. I will buy them again.
Afrodita Cosmetics Coconut hand cream
I really liked this hand cream, it smelled amazing. It was great for daily use as it absorbs really quickly and it doesn’t leave hands oily. It adds really good hydration and makes the hands soft and smooth. I will definitely buy this hand cream again.
The Body Shop tea tree hand wash
I liked this hand soap. It was nicely thick and it cleaned hands really well. Also it worked great for washing makeup brushes. I personally like the scent of tea tree, it takes some getting used to, but it is a really fresh scent. I already bought another The body shop tea tree soap.
Delia Cosmetics Good hand relief protection hand cream
I love this hand cream, I think I used up three of these before and I’ll continue to purchase this one. It makes the hand really soft and smooth. It smells nice and my hands are always nicely soft when using this one. I use it before I go to bed or throughout the day and it works great for me.
Melem oil body lotion – rice
This is amazing body lotion. I’m definitely sure I’ll buy a new one and I can’t believe I didn’t try this one before. This body lotion is very light weight on skin, it blends super easy and absorbs into skin quickly. It also makes skin so soft and smooth. It also gives amazing hydration and I can’t recommend it enough. I loved this one and I can’t wait to buy it again.
Douglas Spring charm hand cream
This was nice hand cream, but nothing incredible. I felt like it didn’t give me enough hydration and I kept reapplying it all the time. It was thick and kind of hard to blend, so I didn’t enjoy it too much. The only thing that I like is that it looks super cute, but other than that it is not a good product.
Nivea Body mousse deep moisture serum
I liked Nivea foam, it was easy to use and super easy to blend. It made my skin super soft and smooth to touch. I liked using this one before tanning foam, because it is lightweight and absorbs super quick. I used it up quite quickly to be honest, but it was an amazing product. I would totally buy this one again.
& other stories Castes hand cream
This was great hand cream. I really enjoyed using this one and I would totally buy it again. I liked how this one was thick and you needed a little product per application. Also the smell of this hand cream was amazing, it was super enjoyable to use.
Douglas Home Spa Harmony of Ayurveda protective shower oil
I love this shower product. It is one of my favourites to be honest. I used up three of these before and I would totally repurchase it again. I love how gentle this product is and it washes the body really well. Also this one is great when your skin is dry as it is hydrating and really gentle. The smell of this one is also incredible, I really like it. I would definitely repurchase this one again.
