I love Catrice Cosmetics, their products are so good and I used them for the longest time. Catrice Cosmetics is affordable, but I did notice that they increased their prices a bit. But to be honest they are still one of the most affordable brands and I really like supporting such a great brand. Catrice Cosmetics nail polishes are really good quality, they last long on the nails and have so many colours to choose from. I have a lot of Catrice Cosmetics nail polishes, but this is the first time that I tried nail polish from Catrice that is supposed to help my nails. I had a Catrice Cosmetics base and top coat, which were also great. I also tried Catrice Cosmetics nail oil and overnight treatment for nail strength. I tried many different nail treatments and honestly some of them were so good and actually helped my nails a lot. Today I’ll share with you a full review on Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail Hardener treatment.
Packaging is really nice, I think it looks chic and elegant. You get 10.5 ml of product or 0.35 fl. oz and the brush that you apply nail polish with is really good quality. Apparently 90% confirm stronger nails (self assessment of 50 women after 30 days of use). Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail Hardener treatment is supposed to confirm harder and stronger nails and improve overall nail condition. You are supposed to use this Catrice Cosmetics nail treatment twice a week. Obviously this is transparent nail polish, so wearing it alone on the nails is a really nice look. I personally really like simple nail look, I don’t like the look of overly done nails in intense colours with glitter and sparkle everywhere. I just never really liked that, it is just not my style. So most of the time you will really see me wear transparent nail polish, or really light pink, nude or white. On my toe nails I go a bit more colourful, so I would sometimes wear red, burgundy or orange. I think I paid a little over 4 Euros for this nail treatment, which is a pretty good price. I think that Eveline Cosmetics still has the most affordable nail treatments. They used to be really great, but I tried a few new formulas and they are not worth the money as they didn’t do what they used to do for nails.
My nails were in really bad condition to be honest. I’m not sure why that happened, I eat pretty clean and I take vitamins daily. Not sure why my nails were so weak, so I decided to take biotin as a supplement. That did improve my nail condition a lot, but I decided to stop taking biotin while testing Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail Hardener treatment to give it a fair chance. I think that if you have weak nails it is best to start with biotin as a supplement, because it is truly the best for nails. But it is important to have some sort of nail treatment as well, to make sure that your nails can be in the best possible condition. Catrice Cosmetics Power nail hardener nail treatment is just a basic transparent nail polish that gives nice shine to the nails and gives that beautiful simple, clean girl look. This one doesn’t last well, it can last about a day or two if you are really careful and don’t wash dishes or do a lot of cleaning. I do apply one layer per wear, so maybe two layers would last better. This as nail treatment works, it does make nails less breakable. Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail hardener treatment is actually pretty nice. I definitely noticed that my nails split a lot less, my nails were always weak, so they split a lot. Since using this Catrice Cosmetics nail treatment I noticed that my nails got a bit stronger. It also made the surface of my nails pretty smooth. I don’t think Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail hardener treatment will give massive change, like truly change your nails. It will help them get a bit stronger and less breakable. I’m not sure what I expected from this one, but I think I expected a bit more. I remember once using Essence Cosmetics nail treatment that truly changed my nails, made them so strong and great. Essence Cosmetics stopped selling it of course and now their nail treatments are not good at all. Same thing happened with Eveline Cosmetics and their nail treatments, they completely changed the formula of every single nail treatment and now they are not good at all.
Catrice Cosmetics Power Nail hardener treatment is not bad, but I feel like it could be a lot better. I will definitely use it up, but I don’t think I will repurchase it.
