I haven’t seen a prettier limited edition collection in a long time than the Catrice Pearlfection limited edition collection. When I first saw this collection on instagram, I fell in love with the packaging, because it was so cute. When I saw the collection in person, I felt like the colours weren’t really for me, they were overly metallic and I just don’t wear them, but the highlighters were stunning. Unfortunately there was only one shade of highlighter available in the store where I was, but luckily it was super pretty and I decided to get it. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on the Catrice Cosmetics Pearlfection highlighter.
Packaging is completely inspired by Rare Beauty, but it is super cute and pearlescent.
Packaging is white, but it has a beautiful purple-pink sheen to it. As you move packaging you
see beautiful purple shine and it is honestly stunning. You get 8.5 g of product. I got the
shade C02 – Shell Yeah that is pinky, rose gold shade. In this collection you can get hair clip,
2 shades of highlighters, 3 shades of eye sticks, 2 nail polishes and lip gloss. I wanted to get
lip gloss as well, but it just looked like transparent shimmery gloss and I already have
enough of those. Catrice Pearlfection highlighter looks super pretty in the pan, it is incredibly
smooth and pigmented. I thought that this shade would be a bit dark for me, but it is actually
really nice. It doesn’t look weird on skin or too dark, it also catches the light beautifully. I paid
43 DKK for this highlighter which is about 5.6 Euros.
Catrice Pearlfection highlighter is probably one of the prettiest highlighters I have used in the
last year. It gives beautiful shine on skin, without laying on this skin, it nicely melts into skin,
so it just shines without back colour or looking like stripe on skin. If you apply Catrice
Perfection highlighter first and nicely blend it on areas you like to wear highlighter on and
then apply a bit of blush, you get the most beautiful shiny cheeks that look stunning. Shade
is definitely pinky, rose gold shade, but I feel like it looks really pretty for spring when I like to
wear a bit more blush than I usually do. I’m usually a fan of golden highlighters, but
sometimes it is nice to have different shades available, because changing one colour when it
comes to makeup can completely change the look.
I find out that pink highlighter gives more of a natural look, especially when it is combined with natural looking pink or mauve blush. I have warm toned skin, but even with that these highlighters look stunning on me. Formula of
Catrice Pearlfection highlighter is incredibly soft and smooth, it can be nicely picked up with
a finger or brush. As highlighter is nicely pigmented, you don’t need to apply a lot of product
or spend a long time doing your makeup. All in all I’m a big fan of this highlighter, I think it
looks stunning and it is great value for the money. I really hope they put this formula of
powder product to their regular line and make a blush and highlighter collection with this
formula and packaging.

All I can say is that this is a stunning highlighter, the formula is very luxurious and for this
price you can’t go wrong. I’m a bit annoyed that this is a limited edition highlighter, but I’m
