I wanted to try CosrX blemish patches for a really long time. I heard great things for these patches, apparently they are amazing for blemishes. As I get blemishes fairly often on my chin, I always need some sort of treatment for blemishes. I have a Clinique anti spot blemish solution (review under the blog post) that I love, but I still wanted to test out CosrX master patch blemish covers. These are a bit expensive, which is the reason why I didn’t get them before, but I decided to get them so I can review them on the blog. For someone who gets blemishes often, also those annoying big under the skin blemishes this seemed like a great product for me. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on the CosrX Master patch blemish cover.
Packaging is really simple. You basically get patches in little plastic bag and inside the bag patches are packaged in separate bag and they are nicely laid on piece of thin plastic. In this packaging you get 24 patches in three sizes and those are S, M and L. CosrX Master patch blemish cover patches are supposed to be fast acting, they protect acne from outside effects and they are non drying. In this packaging of 24 patches you get 10 patches that are 7 mm (small), 5 patches that are 10 mm (medium) and 9 patches that are 12 mm (large). These are supposed to be hydrocolloid patches that absorb oil and extract impurities while creating a barrier that protects against outside irritants. You are supposed to apply a patch on clean, dry acne before any other skin care products. You are supposed to replace patches daily or whenever the patch changes colour to white. I paid 49 DKK for a packet of 24 patches which is around 6 Euros.
CosrX Master patch blemish cover patches are easy to use. Packaging is very convenient, you can easily get patches out of packaging and they peel off thin piece of plastic really easily. I will say that it is very convenient that these CosrX patches come in three sizes, as blemishes are usually different sizes. I will say that I used up medium and large patches first as I used these for those under the skin blemishes that I kept getting under my chin and those were super annoying and painful. I hate under the skin blemishes, they are the worst, so I was happy that I had these patches to help with the healing process. I will say that having a product like this is useful in skin care collection, especially for someone who gets a lot of blemishes. CosrX Master patch blemish covers are transparent, they stick well to skin, but make sure you apply them on clean skin without any product on. If you have cream or serum on your skin, patches don’t stick well and they might come off.
CosrX Master patches are thin, rubbery and you don’t see them easily on skin. I notice a difference with using these CosrX patches. When I used them on under the skin blemishes I would apply them at night and in the morning I would notice that blemish got a little white dot, that shows that blemish is healing. If you would use this product to try to heal under the skin blemishes, I would say it would take 3-4 patches. Obviously that can get pretty expensive, as in packaging you only get 24 patches. CosrX patches could be a great product to have in skin care stash for emergencies, if you are travelling and have blemish, these could be amazing as it will stop you from touching blemish with your hands. Even though these CosrX Master patch blemish covers are a bit pricey, I think they are useful in skin care stash for emergencies and I would buy them again. I will try to find some other blemish patches that are cheaper and test them out and hopefully I find cheaper blemish patches.
