When it comes to fragrances, I have so many in my collection, but my heart belongs to Burberry fragrances. I just love the style and scents they do, they are simple, but so elegant and feminine that I just can’t resist. For the autumn/winter time I love My Burberry Black EDP, it is just my favourite. I usually use that fragrance in colder weather as it is quite strong, so in spring/summer time it is just too much. One day I was walking around and shopping and I went to a perfume shop, I smelled Burberry fragrances and fell in love with My Burberry and My Burberry Blush. My Burberry Blush is the next fragrance on my wish list, I would love to buy it as soon as possible as it is such a pretty feminine scent. But My Burberry Blush EDP was really pricey, so I decided to wait for some sort of discount if possible. My Burberry was a bit cheaper and as I loved both scents I decided to buy the biggest bottle of My Burberry as that was the best price. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on My Burberry EDP.
My Burberry EDP has such pretty packaging. All Burberry fragrances have pretty packaging, but this one is gold and beige and I just love it. I decided to but the biggest size they offer and that is a 90 ml bottle. Burberry offers 3 sizes of fragrances, 30 ml, 50 ml and 90 ml. My Burberry EDP bottle is stunning. I love the little bow and lid, they always look so classy and elegant. Lid on these fragrances is inspired by classic Burberry trench coats. I love bottles of My Burberry Black as well, they are truly stunning. When I purchased this fragrance they offered me a gift. One was a sleeping mask and the other was a little towel to remove makeup with. I decided to get a sleeping mask as I use them every night. Sleeping mask looks really nice, it feels like velvet material and looks like it is of really nice quality. It also looks pretty classy as it has its own case and it is going to be great for travel. It is also gold colour which is just perfect for me as I love it. I will try to describe this EDP as well as I possibly can, but I’m not sure how well I will be able to.
My Burberry EDP has such a stunning scent. It is quite strong when you first smell it but after it settles on the skin for a bit, its true beauty really comes out. I first tried this scent one day while I was shopping and when I first sprayed it on the skin I thought it was nothing special, it smelled kind of usual and nothing special. It was a classic floral scent that didn’t excite me much if that makes sense. But after a few hours walking around and shopping I smelled it again on my skin and I was amazed, it was such a pure, lovely floral, very feminine and elegant scent, something that was totally me and perfect scent in my view.
I love how My Burberry EDP settles on my skin. It is very gentle, but when you smell it it truly smells lovely and just so feminine. I really love Burberry fragrances, I have three in my collection and the next one I’m planning to buy is My Burberry Blush EDP. I totally fell in love when I smelled it last time. Top notes in this EDP are: sweet pea, bergamot, mandarin orange, grapefruit and lemon. Middle notes are: quince, freesia, geranium, peach, green notes, gardenia and passionfruit. Base notes are: damask rose, rose, patchouli, musk, leather and violet. I think this is a really complex, beautiful scent that gets better while it reacts with skin chemistry. On clothes it lasts for days, but on my skin it lasts the whole day. I love Burberry fragrances, I think they are incredible and I love to wear My Burberry Black in fall/winter time, while My Burberry EDP I wear in spring/summer time. I’m a big fan of these fragrances, I recommend them and I think they are of incredible quality and they always have the most beautiful bottles.
I love My Burberry EDP, it is stunning and I would recommend it. Obviously fragrances are personal, I love this scent, but it might be a completely different story with other people. I would recommend you to give it a smell, try it out and see how well you get on with it. Fragrances smell different on clothes and skin, so it is really important to test the scent of fragrance on your skin before buying it, because your skin chemistry reacts with fragrance, so it is important to see if it smells good on the skin as hours pass by.
