Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers and Generation Joy limited edition review

post-title

If you read my blog often then you would know how much I love Catrice and Essence Cosmetics limited edition collections. I personally always fall in love with their limited edition packaging, but this time Catrice Cosmetics in the last two limited edition collections that are Seeking Flowers and Generation Joy collection they actually had products that I’m really into right now which are cream blushes. I love blushes, but cream blushes are my new obsession. I love how lovely they look on the skin and they look so glowy and youthful on cheeks. I’m also really into glowing base products, so in Generation Joy limited edition collection Catrice came out with a Magic skin perfector which is some sort of glowy base and I wanted to give it a go also. Today I will share my opinion and full review on Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers and Generation Joy limited edition collection.

Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers limited edition collection includes: eyeshadow palette, two highlighters, two blushes, three lip tints and lip mask. I love the whole vibe of this collection, the packaging is so pretty, but I got one product from this collection and that is cream blush in shade C02 – S-peachless. Catrice Generation Joy is also a really interesting collection, interesting packaging and interesting products. Catrice Cosmetics Generation Joy collection contains: eyeshadow palette, two blushlighter sticks, magic skin perfector, lipsticks, coloured mascaras and lipliners. I got two products from this collection and that is Magic skin perfector and one shade of blushlighter stick. I wanted to get lip liner also, but I saw that I have few lip liners in my makeup collection and gave up, because I’m trying to use what I have. That is also the case in the review blog post. I loved every single product in the Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers collection, but I got only one product from it, because I don’t want to overcrowd my makeup collection that is already quite large.

Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers collection review

This collection stole my heart from the first time I saw it. I loved every product in this collection and honestly I wanted to try all of the products. I watched some reviews on this collection and saw that the eye shadow palette was not that great. Highlighters are pretty much the same formula as Colour Pop highlighters, which I already have. So I felt like I could skip on the eye shadow palette and highlighter and only get cream blush. I got an orange shade, because I have a similar pink cream blush like one from this collection. Packaging looks cute, but you can not roll back stick blush, so every single time I open blush I get some blush on the lid, which annoys me so much. Brush seems nice and soft, but honestly I never use brushes in this sort of packaging. I always use my brushes, because I’m used to them. You get 7 g of product and I paid for this blush stick 43 DKK (around 5-6 Euros). Blush has a smell, not sure if it is packaging or product itself, but it has a weird scent. Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers blush has a beautiful effect, the orange part gives pigment and white/shiny bit adds glow to the cheeks. This blush is beautifully creamy and super easy to blend out. Product is super easy to use and apply, super creamy and it looks beautifully glowy and healthy on the cheeks. I love this blush, it is perfect for summer and it looks super pretty on skin. I would recommend this blush, it is stunning.

Catrice Cosmetics Generation Joy Blushlighter stick and Magic Skin Perfector

Catrice Cosmetics Generation Joy Magic Skin Perfector comes with 30 ml of product and has really pretty packaging. I personally love how it looks, it is easy to use and apply on the skin. It has a really light scent, you almost don’t feel it while applying the product. It has light nude colour with a warm undertone. Colour fits me quite well so I can wear this one alone. I paid 52 DKK (about 7 Euros) for this one. I had a feeling this one will be very similar to Catrice Cosmetics Tensational primer. I was right, this one is really similar to Catrice Tensational primer which I had before and completely used up. I haven’t repurchased it since then, but I remember it being very similar to this one. Catrice Generation Joy Magic Skin perfector is super easy to apply and blend on the skin, it nicely smooths the skin and gives really natural subtle glow to the skin. You can use this one under the makeup just alone to nicely smooth the skin. I like this one and I will definitely use it a lot this summer season. I like how natural it looks and when my skin is in a good condition I can wear it alone for a really nice and simple natural look. If you already have Catrice Cosmetics Tensational primer, then you don’t need this one. But if you used before and liked Tensational primer, then this one is great to buy as it has prettier packaging and gives a really similar look on the skin.

Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers and Generation Joy limited edition products highlighting their unique textures, set against a backdrop of dried flowers

Catrice Generation Joy Blushlighter stick has pretty packaging and looks really nice. You get 8.5 g of product and I choose shade C02 – Make me Blush which is a combination of golden highlighter and purple blush. The reason why I chose this colour is because I saw a couple reviews and they all said that these are quite sheer and look very natural on the skin. I first wanted to get orange shade, but as I got Catrice Cosmetics Seeking Flowers orange blush, I wanted something different. I paid 43 DKK for this one (around 5-6 Euros). Catrice Cosmetics Generation Joy blushlighter is definitely lightly pigmented and super easy to use. You need to apply quite a lot of product to get a blushed look. I would love it to be more pigmented, but even like this it is a really pretty look on the cheeks. It has a lovely glowy finish and it gives a beautiful healthy look. Product is super creamy and easy to blend out, it looks beautiful on the skin and gives a lovely glowy cheek look. I really love this Catrice Cosmetics Generation Joy Blushlighter, I love to use it and I really like how it looks on cheeks. I would recommend this blushlighter, if you love natural makeup looks, this one is perfect.
