I love buying from Essence and Catrice limited edition collections. I always find products interesting and packaging is usually so much better than the regular line they do. I love Catrice Cosmetics limited editions more than Essence, because usually they have better packaging. But ever since I moved to Denmark, it is really hard to find Catrice makeup in stores. I can only order online from a few websites and usually shipping is expensive, so I just don’t get limited edition collections. Last time I was in the store buying groceries I saw one random Essence display and they had the latest Essence Cosmetics limited edition collection called Got a crush on apricots which was really cute. I would get blush from this collection also, but unfortunately it was sold out. There were only a few products left and surprisingly there were three highlighters. I think that highlighter is the prettiest product from the entire collection and I’m so happy I got a chance to buy it. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter.
Packaging of Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter is simple, transparent plastic packaging that looks cute. Packaging is not the best quality as that is usually the case with Essence packaging, but it is cheap which is the most important. This baked highlighter has a soft scent, it kind of smells like peach ice tea, but it has a very soft scent, you don’t feel it when you apply highlighter. Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter is in the shade 01 – Feel the Apricôt D’Azur Sun. This is supposed to be a super soft baked highlighter for an intense apricot glow. In Essence Cosmetics Got a crush on apricot limited edition you can get: baked highlighter, blush, scrunchies, lip glaze, swirl lip gloss, makeup sponge, pen for making freckles and nail stickers. Essence baked highlighter is 33 DKK, which is about 4.75 USD. In the packaging you get 10.5 g of product or 0.37 oz. Shade of this highlighter is stunning, I don’t own anything similar to this one in my collection.
Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter looks stunning, I love the shade and usually I’m a big fan of baked makeup products. I love how smooth baked highlighters and blushes are and I love using them. Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter looks quite dark in a pan, but on the skin it looks really pretty, especially if you combine it with peachy blush. It looks like it has a lot of back pigment in a swatch, but on the skin it nicely blends into my warm undertone and just looks stunning. I’m a fan of golden highlighter, but this one might be the perfect spring/summer highlighter. It looks so pretty and you can build it up nicely, but also sheer it out for a natural glow on the cheeks. This is a true peachy highlighter and if you get a chance to buy it, definitely do, it is so pretty. It looks shimmery in the swatch, but on the skin it is just glowy and looks really healthy and youthful. This also looks pretty on top of matt blush, it gives that beautiful all over glow.
You can use Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter as highlighter, blush topper or all over skin glow in case you love a really glowy base. I take a big fluffy powder brush and apply this highlighter all over the skin and it gives such a pretty glowy base. It doesn’t leave any shimmer, it just looks glowy and healthy. I’m so happy I got Essence Got a crush on apricots baked highlighter, this is going to be my daily highlighter for spring/summer time and I’m going to use it a lot. If you see this collection I definitely recommend you to check this baked highlighter, it is so pretty and stunning.
