The best makeup brushes, makeup brush brands I love and recommend

post-title

Makeup brushes are important if you want your makeup application to look as good as possible. I tried a lot of different makeup brush brands, but throughout my makeup application journey I found makeup brush brands that work the best for me. I’m not a fan of spending a lot of money on makeup, I prefer to buy expensive skin care and fashion, so with makeup I mostly stick to drugstore brands. I do have one brush brand that is a bit more expensive in this blog post, but that makeup brush brand is so worth the price. I will talk about every brand in a separate paragraph and try to give as much information as possible. Read more to find out the best makeup brushes I use and makeup brush brands that I love and recommend.

Real Techniques

I love Real Techniques brushes, they are really nice quality and can last a long time. One of my most used brushes in the whole brush collection is Real Techniques buffing brush from the flawless base set. That brush is so good, I love to use it to blend foundation, concealer or some cream products like bronzer and blush. Also the size of that brush is just perfect. Real Techniques Flawless base set is a great option if you are just starting with your brush collection as it has great base brushes that everyone needs. I recently added three new Real Techniques brushes from limited edition Cashmere Dreams, as I loved how they looked. In the Real Techniques Cashmere Dreams collection I got a cream blush brush, powder and highlighter brush. I love all Real Techniques brushes I own and I’m looking forward to adding more brushes to my collection.

Dive into my comprehensive review of favourite, top makeup brush brands like Zoeva, Real Techniques, Essence Cosmetics, and Catrice Cosmetics

Zoeva

Zoeva is a bit more expensive brand, but still it is on the affordable side. Their sets are so good and worth the money, I definitely love Zoeva brushes. I love that their makeup brush sets come with a pouch, that is always so beautiful. I have the Zoeva Golden Luxury set Vol 1 and it is so worth the money. It has everything you need for perfect makeup application, literally you have everything you need for every day makeup. Zoeva Golden Luxury Vol 1 set is around 650 DKK (around 90 Euros) and it literally has everything you need. I would say it is so much better to buy sets, rather than buying single brushes, as it is cheaper and you get a really lovely pouch that you can keep your everyday makeup in.

Essence Cosmetics

I have to mention Essence brushes as they are super affordable, but great if you are on the budget. I have a lot of Essence makeup brushes and I still use them in my makeup routine. I have three Essence eye blending brushes and use them in my routine. Those are so good, they never loose hair and I use them pretty much every time I do my makeup. I have some Essence limited edition makeup brushes which are also great. Usually Essence limited editions have the cutest brushes and I definitely recommend you to check them out. I also got one Essence Cosmetics brush set and it was really affordable, but had awesome quality brushes. I can not recommend enough Essence makeup brushes, they are super affordable, but great quality.

Catrice Cosmetics

Catrice Cosmetics doesn’t have makeup brushes in their regular collection, but in their limited edition collections they sometimes have makeup brushes. They had before some eye brushes in regular collection, but they discontinued them. I have about 6-7 Catrice Cosmetics brushes from limited edition collections and I love all of them. Catrice Cosmetics limited edition collection makeup brushes usually look a lot more expensive than what you pay. I have a few of their golden makeup brushes and they never lose colour from the body, never lose hair when washing them and they are great at applying makeup. I have one Catrice powder brush from the limited edition ‘Fall in Colours’ and it is so good and pretty, it looks like a luxury brand brush. It is also so heavy, literally I think I paid 6 Euros for it and it is so worth the money. I also have 3 Catrice brushes from limited edition Kaviar Gauche and I use them all the time. They are so pretty, I had them for years and use them all the time. Can’t recommend Catrice Cosmetics makeup brushes enough, they are stunning.

That’s all from me for today. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. I need to mention that some drugstore brands often have nice brushes like Wet n Wild. I have only 3 Wet n Wild brushes, but they are pretty nice. If you are on the budget, definitely check out drugstore brands like Essence, Catrice and Wet n Wild as they often have some nice makeup brushes. Let me know if you use one of the makeup brush brands that I talked about today? What is your favourite makeup brand? What are your most used makeup brushes? What are your favourite makeup brush brands? Which brush would you repurchase right away if you lost it? Thank you for reading. Have a nice day! xx
