If you read my blog often then you would know that I’m a big fan of Essence Cosmetics makeup. I personally love Essence limited edition collections and I like to try and test out different Essence makeup products. I have not tried a lot of Essence Cosmetics skin care, but I decided to pick out some products and share my opinion on the blog. Is Essence Cosmetics skin care any good? Is Essence Cosmetics Hello Good stuff skin care worth checking out? Today I will talk a little about Essence Cosmetics skin care products, what I have tried and review Essence Hello Good Stuff skin perfecting toner and Essence Hello Good Stuff SOS anti spot gel. Is Essence Cosmetics Hello Good Stuff skin care actually good? Let’s find out.
First I’ll tell you what I have actually tried from Essence Hello Good Stuff skin care line. I tried a few Essence Hello Good Stuff face mists and actually I liked them. I also tried Essence Hello Good Stuff tinted cream and that is one of my favourite tinted creams/bb creams ever. I recently picked out Essence Hello Good Stuff skin perfecting toner and Sos anti spot gel and I will give you a review on each of these products. I personally think that Essence Hello Good Stuff is worth checking out, it is affordable, very cute packaging and they actually make some really good products. They are scented, so if you have really sensitive skin, then maybe stay away, but other than that Essence actually does some really interesting products in their Hello Good Stuff collection.
Essence Hello Good Stuff Skin Perfection toner review
Essence Hello Good Stuff skin perfecting toner is formulated with 2% BHA and papaya extract. It is formulated with 98% ingredients of natural origin. Essence Skin perfecting toner is supposed to clear skin, minimise the size of pores and make skin less oily. Apparently 80% of 30 women who tested this product for study confirmed hydrated skin feeling. Essence skin perfection toner comes with 100 ml of product and it is 4 Euros which is really affordable. You are supposed to use Essence skin perfecting toner once a day and apply it to cleansed skin. If you use it in the morning, definitely apply SPF as protection, as this toner has 2% beta hydroxy acid. Essence Hello Good Stuff Skin perfecting toner has quite a strong scent, it smells like papaya. I personally don’t mind the scent, I don’t feel it after 10 seconds of applying.
Toner has a very light golden colour and it is a nice texture, so you can use it on a cotton pad or just apply it on hands and tap to the skin. I use this as an essence, so I apply some product onto my hands and then press it onto the skin. I really like the feeling this toner gives my skin, I feel like it makes my skin really soft, smooth and nicely glowy. I also feel like my skin is nicely hydrated. I don’t have particularly big pores, only on my nose and I do feel like they look smaller, but they are still noticeable when you really focus on that area. All in all I’m impressed with Essence Hello Good Stuff skin perfecting toner, I really like how it works on my skin and I enjoy using it. I would recommend this Essence Cosmetics toner, I think it is really great.
Essence Hello Good Stuff SOS Anti spot gel
Essence Hello Good Stuff SOS Anti spot gel is formulated with 96% ingredients of natural origin. It is supposed to reduce spots quickly, cool and soothe the area. Essence Sos spot gel is formulated with salicylic acid, zinc and mint oil. Essence Hello Good Stuff Sos anti spot gel comes with 15 ml of product and it is a little over 3 Euros. Essence Cosmetics Sos anti spot gel is supposed to visibly reduce skin impurities and redness of spots within a few hours. You can apply it up to 4 times daily every 2 to 4 hours. Not sure what I think about this Essence Sos Anti Spot gel, like I see it works, but it is very little progress.
I would not say that this gel visibly reduces spots quickly, I think it takes a day or two, applying this product every day, few times a day to see the difference in the size of the spot. I had one of those big, under the skin spots and it took two days applying this gel to bring it to the surface. That is still a good result, but again it takes time and dedication. I think that Essence Cosmetics Sos Anti Spot gel is a good product, but don’t expect miracle, super quick results, but as a spot treatment this is not a bad product at all. I tried a few acne spot gels and they all took about 2 days to show results for visible differences in the acne size. I like Essence Cosmetics Sos Anti Spot gel, it is a good product and it was really helpful for that under the skin spot. Those are the worst and take so long to disappear.
I quite like Essence skin care products and I really like that they decided to make a skin care line. Essence Hello Good Stuff products are really nice and so far I liked every Essence Hello Good Stuff product that I tried and I’m looking forward to trying more Essence skin care products.
