I bought this product because of the packaging. It looks so cute and I just couldn’t resist. Yes Studio products all look very cute and packaging is always super cute. I didn’t use this brand before, but in the local beauty store they have quite a few Yes Studio products and whenever I go there I find some new products that I want to get and test out. I don’t know much about this brand but they do have a lot of interesting products in offer here, mostly pampering body stuff like shower foams, body butters and scrubs. They also have a lot of bath stuff, so all of their products look cute and they are perfect to use when you want to pamper yourself. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on Yes Studio Call me Coco-nuts body butter that is infused with magnesium.
As I already mentioned, packaging is super cute, the colour and shape of packaging is super pretty. You get a lot of product in this packaging, 400 g of product which can last a long time. This body butter is cruelty free and vegan. It is supposed to relax the mind and body. It is recommended for all skin types. Yes Studio Call me Coco-nuts body butter has lavender colour and a really thick texture. It smells like coconut, but quite lightweight and artificial. I have to be honest, the scent is quite disappointing, it doesn’t smell that great. Scent also doesn’t linger on skin and it disappears quickly. This product is quite affordable, I think I paid 28 DKK for it which is about 3.6 Euros. Obviously these products are affordable and cute, but to be honest the formula didn’t impress me that much.
Yes Studio Call me Coco-nuts body butter has a sweet coconut scent, which on the skin doesn’t smell anything special. It is just a sweet scent that disappears in about an hour. This body butter has lavender colour, it is quite thick, but it is creamy. It does leave white marks, so you need to nicely blend it into the skin. It is not the easiest to apply, it does take a while to nicely blend into the skin. After massaging this body butter into the skin, the skin doesn’t have any oily residue and you can put clothes on right away. Skin doesn’t have any oily or glowy residue, it looks mat. Skin does appear soft and smooth to the touch, but I have to mention that I don’t feel amazing hydration from this body butter. Whenever I use body butters I like to experience great hydration, with this one I don’t feel it. I think this body butter gives really lightweight hydration and it is not enough for skin types that are extra dry.
For example, for me this body butter can be good enough to use daily in spring/summer time, but in winter I feel like my skin needs more hydration. Yes Studio Call me Coco-nuts body butter is an ok product, but honestly there are so many better body butters. For me this is more of a body cream, rather than butter, it doesn’t give enough care and hydration to be called butter. I bought one more Yes Studio body butter, that one is cherry scented, I will give it a go also, but I don’t think I would repurchase them if the cherry butter has the same type of care. This body butter is ok, but it’s nothing incredible and life changing. I would love it to be much more caring and hydrating, also nicer coconut scent would be nice.
