I remember years ago seeing these products in one YT video and really loved the packaging and wanted to try them. But I could not find them anywhere and I just accepted that I won’t get these. When I moved to Denmark in one of my wanderings around the stores and saw these, I remembered how much I wanted to try them and decided to get them right away even though I had so many hair care products that were waiting for their time to be tested out. But I’m so excited to try these products and of course I decided to write about them on the blog. Today I will share with you my full review and opinion on Monday Volume shampoo and conditioner that are formulated with ginger extract.
Packaging is stunning, I absolutely love it. Packaging is so well done and it looks so nice in the shower. You get a great amount of product, it will last well and these are so easy to use, especially because of the pump and they have marks on top of the pump (S for shampoo and C for conditioner). Monday Volume shampoo and conditioner are formulated with ginger extract, they have 0% SLS and are PETA certified. You get 350 ml of product in these products. This hair care line is called ‘Crank up the volume’. You should use this Monday hair care line if your hair is lacking life and need to revive your hair. These products will apparently give your hair so much body, it will have a voice of its own (read on the packaging). Scent of these two is nice, but it’s not incredible. It is a pretty standard scent for hair care products and it is nice, it doesn’t stay in your hair for a long time. Monday shampoo has milky colour and really nice consistency, while Monday conditioner has white colour and quite a lightweight consistency. Monday Volume shampoo and conditioner are 59 DKK each which is about 8 Euros for each product.
Monday Volume shampoo and conditioner are quite nice, but they are not something that I would repurchase personally. I enjoyed using them, but I wouldn’t buy this ‘Volume’ line as it is not something I need for my hair. My hair is naturally voluminous and I have a lot of hair, so for me volume is not the main thing that I need, so for that reason I don’t really need these products. Monday Volume shampoo is really nice, it has a nice scent, it washes hair well and it is easy to wash out. It foams up nicely, but it is important to evenly apply it all over the hair to get a good wash. If I use pre treatment with oil on my scalp, I have to use a nice amount of this shampoo to make sure my hair will be nicely washed. Honestly, every shampoo is like that. If my hair is really dirty and I have oil in it, then I use a lot more shampoo that regularly. Hair after washing with Monday Volume shampoo is nice, soft and smooth and it definitely has a volume. I noticed a lot of volume in roots which is hard to get with most shampoos so for that reason I would gladly recommend Monday Volume shampoo. Monday Volume shampoo is really good shampoo, it works well and definitely makes hair look nice and definitely voluminous. Monday Volume shampoo is a great option if you want to try something new and you love the look of voluminous hair.
Monday Volume conditioner is a nice, lightweight conditioner that won’t make hair heavy and weighed down. It is easy to apply as it is not very thick and you can spread it easily on hair. I usually leave it in the hair for a few minutes, usually 5 minutes or so and then wash it out. I tried using this conditioner all over the hair before washing hair, as some sort of pre-treatment, but I didn’t notice any difference in the way my hair looked. So now I only use this conditioner after washing my hair as a post wash treatment. Monday Volume conditioner has quite a soft scent, so it doesn’t stay in hair long, just a few hours after washing. This conditioner does make hair appear soft and smooth after washing. Hair is smooth and soft to the touch and has nice movement. Hair looks very nice and healthy while having a lot of volume. Monday Volume shampoo does not make hair easier to brush out, but to be honest my hair is really tangly and most conditioners can not make it easier to brush out. This conditioner is really nice, I like it, but I definitely want to try the Monday Repair conditioner. I feel like that one could be great for my hair that has a tendency to get dry quite easily. I would recommend Monday Volume conditioner, it is nice, makes hair look lovely and definitely voluminous.
If you are looking to try new hair care products, then these could be a great option especially if volume is something that you are after. These products are great for volume and honestly they really make a difference. I will definitely try Monday Repair shampoo and conditioner and when I do, I’ll make sure to write review on them.
