Essence Love It a Choco Lot limited edition collection review

post-title

I decided that this year I will nor buy much makeup and beauty products in general. I already have quite a lot of products that I bought in the previous year that are waiting to be tested and reviewed on the blog, so I won’t buy as much this year. I will only buy things that I really want to test out for the blog or I really like the look of them. Essence limited edition collections are always so interesting for me, because often they really do such cute and different products to their regular line. Essence Love It a Choco Lot limited edition collection, is stunning. I really loved the look of this collection and had a hard time picking my ultimate favourite products from the collection. I decided to buy and test out Essence Love It a Choco Lot blush mousse and highlighter glaze.

In Essence Love It a Choco Lot limited edition collection you can find: lip oil, lip gloss,
highlighting glaze, blush mousse and eye shadow stick. I loved the look of all the products,
but decided to get two of the most interesting products. Lip oil also looked really interesting,
but as I said I’m trying to buy only products that truly interest me. Packaging like with most
Essence limited edition collections is super cute. Both products look super cute and I really
like the look of them. Essence Love It a Choco Lot blush mousse comes with 4.2 g of
product and highlighter glaze comes with 6 g of product. Blush mousse was 30 DKK, which
is around 3.8 Euros and highlighter glaze was 32 DKK which is 4.2 Euros. Blush mousse is
in the shade 01 – Chocoholic’s dream and highlighter glaze is in the shade 01 – Heartbeats &
Choco Treats. Blush mousse smells like chocolate mousse, a really sweet chocolate smell
while highlighter glaze doesn’t have any smell.

Essence Love It a Choco Lot blush mousse is super creamy and easy to apply. It is easy to
blend out and you can achieve a really nice look on the cheeks. I managed to have a really
natural look with it, but also an intense blush look. So it is quite easy to blend out and sheer
out if you use too much, but you can also build it up. The color is nice pink, it is not too light
and bright, but it is also not overly dark. So quite a nice, neutral pink colour that can work for
most people. Apparently this is supposed to be a semi mat formula, but to be honest to me
this looks like mat formula. It doesn’t have any shimmer and it doesn’t look balmy or glowy
on the cheeks. It kind of gives a look of powder blush. I wish it was nicely glowy on the
cheeks, because I wear cream products because I love how fresh and naturally healthy they
look. Essence Love It a Choco Lot blush mousse is nice, easy to use, but I wish it looked
more glowy on the cheeks. It is still a good product, but it didn’t give me the desired look. I
will continue to wear it of course, it has a good formula and colour.

Essence Love It a Choco Lot highlighter glaze is an interesting product. I never used formula
like this one and I have to be honest it was really strange to test it out. The look it gives is
stunning, but you have to work hard to achieve it. Essence Love It a Choco Lot highlighter
glaze is gel formula, it is really bouncy and interesting when you touch it with fingers. As it is
pouty formula that means that beautiful heart design gets destroyed with use, literally after
two uses mine was completely mushed and didn’t look pretty any more. I don’t apply this
product with my fingers, because it is harder to blend out that way and sometimes it lifts my
foundation and it is not a cute look. I use my trusty cream highlighter brush but it is quite
hard to pick up because it is a gelly, pouty formula. That means that you have to go back to
pick up more product to apply and intensify the look on cheeks, which takes more time than
usual. When you build up the glow on the cheeks it looks stunning, the glow it gives is so
pretty and it looks different under every lighting. It has shimmer particles with different
colours and it looks so pretty in combination with Essence Love It a Choco Lot blush
mousse. The look these two give together is stunning, very pretty. I think this highlighter is
nice, but it is annoying that it takes some time to build up. I will continue to use Essence
Love It a Choco Lot highlighter glaze, I think it looks beautiful on the skin, but it is also a
product that needs more time to be applied nicely. I will use it for the days when I have more
time to get ready, not in the morning when I’m rushing to get ready.

All in all these Essence Love It a Choco Lot products are nice. I like how they look on the
skin and in combination they look stunning. Would I recommend them? Yes and no, I think
they are nice, but you have to make them work. I like the look they give, but I hate that I
need to spend more time trying to build up glow from the highlighter. That’s all from me for
today. I hope you enjoyed this review. Let me know if you try Essence Love It a Choco Lot
limited edition collection? Did you pick up anything from this collection? Do you use Essence
makeup? What is your favourite Essence product? Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!
