I know that Catrice Cosmetics is a makeup brand, but I really wanted to try some of their skin care products. They made a few skin care products and I think I tried two serums before that were actually pretty good. I decided to try Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost eye serum because I’m really interested in bakuchiol as an ingredient. This eye cream is formulated with 1% bakuchiol and it is supposed to care for fine lines and make the under eye area smoother. Today I’ll share with you a full review on Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost eye serum.
Packaging is pretty simple. This is usual packaging for eye creams, so it is completely fine that they went with this packaging. You get 15 ml of product or 0.5 fl. Oz. This product definitely has the texture of a serum. It is pretty liquid and lightweight. I would prefer that this is a bit thicker, as it is really hard to apply like this. But again Catrice marketed this one as a serum and it is totally fair that this is liquidy. This is supposed to be hydrating under eye serum with retinol alternative bakuchiol. Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost eye serum is formulated with bakuchiol, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. It is supposed to give a refreshed and youthful appearance to under eyes.
I’m not a fan of the texture of this product. I definitely expected this to be similar to eye cream, but this definitely has a runny texture of usual serum. Now I already know how to use Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost eye serum. When I use this one I keep it on the opposite end of the opening, as this is so liquid, you don’t even have to squeeze packaging to get product out. This is white, runny, lightweight cream that takes some time to absorb into skin. I still struggle to dose this one nicely, as every time I use this product I use too much. But again this is really liquidy and it is hard to use it. I usually apply this one and leave it on under eyes for a minute or so and then I gently pat it in. Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost serum is a nice product. I like how it makes my under eyes look. It makes my under eyes really smooth and it gives a nice healthy glow under my eyes. I do feel that Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost serum is hydrating. It gives nice, light hydration that makes under eyes youthful. When you get used to Catrice Cosmetics YOUTH boost serum then this product is pretty nice. I still would like that this one is thicker, it would be so much easier to use, but it is what it is. I’m not sure if I should repurchase this one. I like it, but again I think I tried many other better eye creams. Now this technically isn’t eye cream, but serum, but you use it the same way.
