I wanted to try this Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil for a long time. I used to love the Catrice lip oil that they had in their collection a long time ago. I think I used up at least five of those before they discontinued them. I loved that lip oil in fuschia pink colour, it was lovely on the lips and it gave lovely hydration and glow to the lips. I loved it so much and I was really sad when I could not get it any more. So I was excited to try and test out Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil, this one comes with less product for sure. I remember that old Catrice lip oil had 5.5 or 6 ml of product, while this new lip oil has only 4 ml of product. Today I will share with you my opinion and full review on the Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil.
Packaging is definitely cute, it looks like it has a lot of product, but that is due to the shape of lip oil and the packaging is quite thick plastic. You get 4 ml of product, which for someone who reapplies lip products often won’t last a long time. To be honest I go through lip products that have more product inside quite quickly, especially lip glosses, so I feel like this one will be used up quickly. Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil has quite a big doe foot applicator as you can see on the photo. I got the shade 020 – Drama Mama which is a nice cherry red shade. They have five shades in this lip product, which is nice. This tinted lip oil has a sweet scent, it is quite light and easy to wear. Sometimes lip products have such an intense smell that it is hard to wear them, because you constantly feel the smell. This is colour changing lip oil that is supposed to stain the lips softly. It is formulated with cherry and pomegranate oil. Catrice Tinted lip oil is 40 DKK which is around 5 Euros.
Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil is a really nice product. It has quite a thick texture, so a little bit of product goes a long way. It is nicely shiny on the lips and it makes lips appear bigger, because they look really glowy and juicy. When I first apply Tinted lip oil on the lips my lips have a slight pinkish colour, but lip oil almost looks transparent on the lips after the first application. After a minute lips start getting more colour and having that tinted look. When colour fully develops my lips have intense pink, bright shade and honestly it really looks pretty. It is a perfect, bright colour for summer and I’m sure this will be my favourite lip product for summer.
If you like lip products that tint lips, then these Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oils are perfect. I love wearing very minimal makeup in summer and then wearing bold lip colour, so for that this Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil in shade Drama Mama will be perfect. This tinted lip oil feels very light on the lips, it is nicely nourishing and feels great. It doesn’t feel sticky and gives a really lovely glossy look. Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil doesn’t last a long time on the lips, it is similar to most lip glosses in that way, but it stains the lips and leaves the colour on the lips for a really long time. I personally really enjoy using this product, it is pretty, feels great on lips and it is super easy to apply. I can definitely recommend Catrice Cosmetics Tinted lip oil, it is great.
