Balea scalp treatment with 5% panthenol review

post-title

I started having problems with dry scalp about 3 years ago. One winter I got a really irritated scalp with a lot of dandruff and itchiness and I really didn’t know what to do and how to treat it. Before that I never really had issues with my hair, because I always took really good care of my hair. Dry scalp is really something that is hard to deal with, so even now, three years later I sometimes get dry scalp if I use something that doesn’t work nicely on my scalp. I reviewed the Balea dry scalp conditioner and leave in treatment that really helped me. Unfortunately those products were discontinued, but recently Balea came out with this new product, which ofc I had to try. Today I’ll share with you my full review on Balea scalp treatment with 5% panthenol that is meant for sensitive, irritated and itchy scalp care.

Packaging is definitely different from the old one. What I especially like is that they increase the size of the product. Before you got 50 ml of product, in the new version you get 150 ml of product. This is leave in treatment that is supposed to give you 24 hour hydration. Balea scalp treatment is formulated with white tea extract and keratin. It also contains panthenol. It is recommended for daily care of sensitive, dry scalp that is prone to itching and irritations. Scent is the same as the old version and it is really light and mild herbal scent. Product is white, really lightweight and non greasy. I apply this after washing my hair on the areas where I usually get dry scalp with dandruff, which is basically the front hairline.

This Balea product is really easy to use and apply. Also packing makes it so easy to apply and gives you precision. You can apply it directly onto the scalp and then massage it gently with fingers. As I said this is really lightweight white cream. It is not greasy or oily, so you can apply it without worrying about that. If you have really thin hair, then definitely be careful applying it the first few times as I have pretty thick hair and I never notice this product looking greasy. This product will definitely calm dry and itchy scalp. I used it when my scalp got irritated with shampoo and it really helped with itchiness especially. What I like about this one is that I can use it a few times a day if my scalp is very dry and itchy, to just help the process of healing. This is definitely one of those must have products if you struggle with dry scalp and irritations. It definitely helps me keep my scalp balanced and hydrated. I would definitely love if Balea would bring back a whole collection of hair products for dry scalp, because I know that a lot of people struggle with it. I’m not sure why brands don’t target more products for this specific issue as I know it is pretty common. If you struggle with dry scalp definitely give this one a go, it is really great for keeping scalp hydrated. I can’t imagine being without this product to be honest. When I noticed that Balea discontinued it, I got 3 bottles as a backup. I was running out of my last one when I noticed they brought back this product, which gave me a huge relief to be honest.

If you struggle with dry scalp, definitely give this one a go. It is an easy to use, very simple yet effective product that is also very affordable. I can’t say enough good things about it, definitely a recommendation. That is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed this review. Let me know if you have tried Balea dry scalp treatment. Do you usually use Balea products? What are your favourite Balea products? Did you ever have issues with dry irritated scalp and what treatment did you use? Thank you for reading. Have a nice day! xx
