I go through phases with makeup. Sometimes I use the same makeup products for months, but sometimes I need to switch makeup I use regularly. I was in one phase for quite a while and I have no need to switch my makeup products that I use, because I’m still not tired of them. Today I’ll chat about my current favourite makeup products, share how I use them and why they are favourites.
Missha Perfect cover BB cream X
This is my all time favourite tinted moisturiser. I used a lot of tinted moisturisers, so to claim that this one is the best one really means a lot. This product is so popular for that reason, it is just incredible. Missha BB cream is very light weight on skin and it provides really nice coverage. It gives that beautiful glowy, healthy skin look and it is so great that it has high SPF (42). I have two shades of Missha BB cream, which tells you that I love this one so much. I have shades 23 (Natural Beige) and shade 25 (Warm beige). I can’t recommend this BB cream more, it is truly amazing and I love it.
Essence My must have blush palette
I made this blush palette quite a while ago, but it was in my makeup collection hidden away, so I haven’t used it a lot. Since I found it in my makeup collection, I have been using it every time I do my makeup and I love it so much. These four blushes are all from Essence. First blush in the palette is a shimmery pink blush, second two blushes are satin, one is orange blush and the other one is mauve. Fourth blush is mat and shade is natural coral shade. First blush I usually use as a blush topper as it is really shimmery. Other three blushes are all so nice on their own or mixed together. I really love wearing that intense blush look, so this palette is perfect for me. I love this palette and I’m sure I’ll use it in months to come.
Catrice CLEAN ID glow prime & fix spray with rose extract
Setting spray was usually a product that I would forget to use and I would just have setting sprays in my makeup collection to collect dust. But I changed that last year, because I really enjoy applying setting spray after I do my makeup. I really like this Catrice Clean ID setting spray, it is really gentle, the spray is really fine and it nicely refreshes makeup. This setting spray is free of silicone, mineral oil and fragrance. It is really gentle and it adds a little bit of hydration and it takes away the powdery effect if there is any. I love this one and I’m sure I’ll repurchase it.
Gosh Fake it lash primer
I got frustrated with one mascara that I had, because it was useless and it just did nothing so I decided to try mascara primer, to see if it can make a difference. Oh well, it can not only make a difference, but it is a game changer. Gosh mascara primer is honestly such a great product that makes lashes look pretty impressive. This mascara primer is grey in colour, so you have to apply mascara on top nicely to cover it. Brush is really nice and it nicely applies product on lashes. This Gosh primer makes every mascara impressive on the eyes. It really makes a difference and I’ll continue to repurchase this one.
Pupa Luminys baked all over illuminating blush powder
I almost used this product up, that’s how much I love it. This is supposed to be a blush, but I don’t use it as blush. It has a colour of bronzer to me, but as a bronzer it doesn’t really work for me, so I use this product as a highlighter and eyeshadow palette. I use this one mostly on my eyes, because it really suits my eye colour. Texture of this Pupa illuminating blush powder is so smooth and soft. Product is well pigmented and really easy to blend. I’m not sure if I would repurchase this exact colour of this product, maybe I would get a blush colour, like mauve or maybe coral. I love this product a lot and I recommend it.
Catrice Power full 5 glossy lip oil (030 – Watermelon sparkle)
I got this one because I really liked how fun this shade was. This one has intense glitter in, but you don’t see that much on your lips. I know that the shade of this blush is really intense, but it is sheer and it just gives a hint of colour on the lips. Texture of this gloss is really smooth, hydrating and quite thick on lips, but it is not sticky. This Catrice glossy lip oil is really great, super smooth, comfortable on lips and shiny. I love this one and I’m sure I will repurchase this one in different shades.
