Ree Park Experience – fun, exploring and outfit details

post-title

Few weeks ago we visited Ree Park again. We were there about a year ago and honestly we had such a great time that we wanted to experience Ree Park again and have an awesome day there. One of my favourite memories is actually my experience in Ree Park. I had such an amazing day with my husband that I wanted to go there again. This time we also had an amazing day, so I’m thinking that Ree Park will become our go to place every year, because it is super fun and a great way to have fun together. Let me tell you what we've been up to and how we spent our day in Ree Park.

Obviously Ree Park is something like a zoo, you will see a lot of families and children everywhere. It can get noisy a bit, because kids are everywhere, but usually it is pretty chill and you can have an awesome time walking around and really enjoying scenery. There will be a lot of walking because the park offers a lot of things to see, there are many animals and you can really spend a full day walking around and having a good time. First animals we went to see were alpacas, because those are one of my favourite animals. Alpacas are super friendly, they will come to check you out right away. I actually brought some carrots, because I forgot that there are signs everywhere that you can not feed animals. We ended up eating carrots as a snack, because I didn’t feed them to alpacas. After the alpacas we went to check out other animals and walk around the park.

You actually have the opportunity to book a safari tour, we didn’t do it this time, because a year ago we had a safari tour. A Safari tour is fun, but if I’m being completely honest it is something you should do once and after that it is not something you should repeat. Maybe in a few years I would repeat it, but only if they get some new animals, because all of the animals on the safari tour I have already seen. But even if you don’t take a safari ride, you can still see all the animals, because there are few viewpoints where you can see all of them clearly. In a photo you can see the terrace and in the background giraffes and gazelles. We saw all of the animals, there is a lot to see, so with active walking you have a good 4-5 hours of exploring. In the main area you have many spots to relax and rest with many vendors selling food, ice cream and coffee. I had ice coffee with caramel, it was 55 DKK, which is a bit pricey, but it was really tasty. Last year we had burgers at Ree Park and they were really tasty. This time we decided not to eat in the park, we visited a restaurant on our way back to Aarhus.

Entrance fee for grownups is 210 DKK, which is a great price. Before we left the park we went to see alpacas again and that just made my day complete. I love those animals. This time I took a bit of greenery and fed them, they loved it. Alpacas weren’t super fluffy as you can see on photos, they shaved off their fur because it is summer. There were some small alpacas and they were fluffy, but unfortunately they didn’t let you touch them, because they ran away. Before we left the park I got a fridge magnet as a nice memory, it was 20 DKK. My outfit for the park was really casual. I didn’t expect to have a full leather look, but it worked out quite nicely as it was comfortable and I wasn’t either cold or warm. I wore my new leather jacket from Meotine, black T shirt from Calvin Klein, and leather shorts from Azara Paris. I wore my Adidas Supernova sneakers as they are super comfortable. For the bag I decided to carry Coach Folio tote as I wanted to bring some snacks and water for us.

All in all we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. Next summer we will definitely go to Ree Park, it is such a great time and a really great memory. I love Ree Park and I would recommend it as a great experience, the park is lovely and I will definitely go there again. If you love animals it is definitely a place to be, because they have so many animals, lions, cheetah, farm animals, bears, deers, giraffes and so much more. That’s all from me for today. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Let me know if you like this type of blog post? We are planning to do some travelling this summer, but I hope the weather will be nice as most days it is raining unfortunately. I hope more sunny days are ahead as I wish to travel a bit more.
