New Catrice Cosmetics spring/summer 2024 collection was a bit underwhelming for me to be honest. Essence Cosmetics spring/summer 2024 collection is definitely more interesting and I will test out more products from the new Essence collection as they are much more interesting. I expected products to be more interesting and I really wanted to try more, but looking at this collection I was really not interested in many products. If I’m being completely honest I was only excited for Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush. We have only three shades available in local drugstores, one is pink, one is orange and the third one is a reddish shade. I decided to get an orange shade as I don’t like pink blushes, never really wear it. The red one looked really intense, so I was really afraid of it, so I decided to get an orange shade, because I like orange blushes in summer. Today I’ll share with you my opinion and full review of Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush.
Packaging is really simple and straightforward. I like the packaging, it looks cute and it is small and compact. You get 10 ml of product and on the packaging it said to shake well before use and it is highlighted which definitely needs to be as this blush is kind of oily, so it is important to shake blush well to get it mixed in well. I got shade number 020 – Orange Fizz. Catrice Cosmetics offers 5 shades in Blush Affair liquid blush and shades are really cute. I might get more shades, I really like shade 040 – Velvet Rose, but I need to get that one online as it is not available here. Apparently Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush is formulated with marshmallow root extract, blush is vegan and you can use it for cheeks and lips. It is supposed to be a long lasting liquid blush with natural-matte finish. This blush is 4.50 Euros which is a good price to be honest.
Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush has really lovely texture, it is oily, but when you shake it well before use it is so lovely. I feel like transparent serum or oil in this blush makes this product so much better and makes it appear more glowy and youtfull on cheeks. I watched some YT videos about the new Catrice spring/summer 2024 collection and I saw how pigmented this blush was, so I was a bit scared to use it as I don’t have much experience with liquid blush. Even though Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush is pigmented, the texture it has makes it so easy to work with. You can easily blend this blush and it looks so pretty on the cheeks.
I know that I will wear this blush so much in upcoming spring/summer, even on days when i don’t wear any makeup as it is so stunning. Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush blends so easily on cheeks, it doesn’t lift foundation underneath and it looks glowy on cheeks. This is a matt blush, but it looks beautifully glowy without any shimmer. I’m gonna be honest, I’m not a fan of liquid/cream products as they don’t last on my skin, but I have to admit that this one might convert me to cream and liquid makeup products. I’m so impressed with Catrice Cosmetics Blush Affair liquid blush, it is soo good and I definitely recommend you to try it. If you have dry skin or you like more of a natural makeup look, then this is definitely a product to try.
